Applying coating to a yellow hood in the Buff & Beyond bay
Before any coating goes on

Every car is washed, decontaminated and machine polished under studio light. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so the paint has to be right first.

What the coating does

A hard, slick layer bonded to your clear coat.

A ceramic coating is a liquid that cures into a glass-like layer on top of the paint. Water beads and runs off, road grime and bug residue lose their grip, and UV stops working on the clear coat underneath.

We apply Gyeon exclusively. The EVO system pairs a base coat that bonds to the paint with a top coat that carries the slickness, and it is only sold through certified detailers.

Coating a yellow Porsche hood
  • 01

    Water leaves on its own

Gyeon coatings hold some of the highest water contact angles in the business. Rain and rinse water bead up and roll off, taking loose dirt with them.

  • 02

    Two layers, two jobs

The EVO base coat bonds hard to the clear coat for durability. The top coat adds the slick, self-cleaning surface you feel on the first wash.

  • 03

    UV and chemical resistance

Bird droppings, tree sap, bug acid and road salt sit on the coating instead of the paint, and built-in UV blockers keep the colour from fading.

  • 04

    Certified and warranted

We are a Gyeon Certified Detailer. Every coating is applied to Gyeon's spec, and the Level 2 package carries the Gyeon warranty.

What lands on paint

Pick what lands on your car and see how long bare paint has.

Everything that hits paint in New Jersey is on a timer. This is roughly how long each one takes to mark a bare clear coat, and what happens when the same thing lands on a coated car.

Uric acid eats into the clear coat while the dropping dries and the panel heats up. By the next morning the outline is in the paint, and washing will not take it out.

The repair

Machine polishing if it is caught early. Repainting the panel if it is not.

Gyeon Certified Detailer Comes off at the next wash

Sits on top of the coating instead of the paint. Rinse it off at the next wash and there is nothing underneath.

The repair

A wash.

The complete build

Coating, film and tint in one booking.

A coating is the layer most owners add first. The Ultimate Protection Package puts paint protection film under it on the panels that take stone hits, and LLumar ceramic tint on the glass, all in one bay by one crew.

  • Layer 01

    Paint protection film

Self-healing LLumar film over every panel that faces the road.

  • Layer 02

    Ceramic coating

Gyeon over the film and the remaining paint. Water beads off, grime lets go at the first rinse, gloss goes deeper.

  • Layer 03

    Window tint

LLumar ceramic tint for heat rejection and a finished look that matches the rest of the build.

How it goes

From the first call to the final walkaround.

  1. Step 01

    Consultation

We look at the paint, talk about how the car lives, and pick the level. Then we book the bay.

  2. Step 02

    Paint correction

Swirls, light scratches and oxidation are machine polished out. The coating seals whatever is under it, so this is where the result is made.

  3. Step 03

    Coating

Applied panel by panel by hand in a climate-controlled bay, levelled, and checked under high-intensity light before the next panel.

  4. Step 04

    Cure and walkaround

The car cures indoors, then we go over every panel together under studio light and show you how to wash a coated car.

"Nick and Matt were easy to talk to and very nice people. Very clean and large facility. Knew they were legit when I saw them working on a Vantage, SF90, and GT3. My 2024 Model 3 Performance Highland came out great. This is definitely the go-to place to do your ppf and tints."
Cal H · Google review, August 2026

"Had my car tinted a few years back and just had another one PPF'd and detailed, amazing job. Their service is about as professional as you can get. Daily calls with updates and always taking your calls. If you love your car, they will take great care of it."

Albert Pyun · Google review, August 2026

"Worked with Matt from pre to post sale, he did a great job with tint selection and walking me through the options. The team did an outstanding job with the install and the tint came out perfect on both vehicles. You are in good hands with this team, 5 stars all the way!"

Peter B. · Google review, September 2026

It depends on the level. The Basic coating is a one-year product. Level 1 and Level 2 use the Gyeon EVO system and are rated for multiple years, with Level 2 warranted by Gyeon. Owners who hand wash with a pH-neutral soap and skip brush washes routinely see the beading and gloss outlast the rating.
Yes for Level 1 and Level 2, and it is built into the price. A coating seals in whatever is under it, so swirls and scratches would be locked in for years. The Basic package skips correction, which is why it suits a newer daily driver.
Hand wash or touchless with a pH-neutral soap, and skip the brush washes. You will notice the wash takes about half the time because dirt does not bond to a coated surface.
It does not. A coating is a few microns thick and handles chemicals, UV and washing. Stone chips are a job for paint protection film, which is why the two are paired in the Ultimate package.
Yes, and we recommend it. The coating makes the film easier to wash and more resistant to staining. Coated film is standard in the Ultimate Protection Package.
