Before any film goes on

Every pane is cleaned inside and out, the pattern is cut by computer to your exact glass, and the film is shaped to the curve before it is ever wet out. Edges land where the factory line ends.

What the film does

A ceramic layer on the glass that turns heat away.

Ceramic window film uses nano-ceramic particles to reject infrared heat at the glass while letting visible light through. It does not fade, bubble or turn purple, and because it contains no metal it leaves phone, GPS and satellite signals alone.

We install LLumar exclusively. Every job is cut by computer from LLumar's pattern library and laid in-house, so the edges are clean and the film on your car is the one the warranty covers.

    Up to 80% of infrared heat rejected

    The wavelengths that cook a cabin are the ones the ceramic layer targets, so the car is cooler to get into and the air conditioning has less to fight.

    99% of UV blocked

    UVA and UVB stop at the glass. That protects your skin on a long drive and keeps the dash, seats and trim from fading and cracking.

    Glare without the darkness

    A light ceramic shade cuts glare from a low sun and oncoming headlights while keeping night visibility clear. That is why a windshield strip or full windshield is in two of the three packages.

    Signal friendly

    There is no metal in the film. Phone, Bluetooth, GPS, toll tag and satellite radio pass straight through.

How dark

Pick a shade and see it from both sides of the glass.

Darkness is a look and privacy choice. With ceramic film the heat rejection comes from the ceramic layer, so a light shade still blocks most of the infrared. Slide through the shades we carry.

  • 01Every shade here is LLumar ceramic. The heat and UV numbers hold whether you go light or dark.
  • 02New Jersey regulates the windshield and the front side windows. The rear side glass and back window have no limit. We go over what is allowed on each pane before the car comes in.

Tint is where a lot of builds start. The Ultimate Protection Package adds self-healing film on the panels that take stone hits and a Gyeon coating over the rest, all in one bay by one crew.

    A hard, hydrophobic layer over the film and the remaining paint. Water beads off, grime lets go at the first rinse, gloss goes deeper.

    We talk through shade, coverage and what New Jersey allows on each pane, then book the bay.

  2. Step 02

    Glass prep

    Every window is cleaned inside and out, and old film, if there is any, comes off. Nothing goes under the new film.

  3. Step 03

    Installation

    Patterns are computer cut to your exact glass, shaped to the curve, and laid in a climate-controlled bay with the edges landing on the factory line.

  4. Step 04

    Inspection and cure

    We check every pane under controlled light and walk you through the cure. Keep the windows up for a few days and it is done.

The rear side windows and the back glass can be tinted to any shade. The windshield and front side windows are regulated, and we will tell you exactly what we can do on each pane before the car comes in.
Most owners land on 20% for the rear glass and something lighter up front. Use the shade picker above to compare, and remember that with ceramic film a light shade still rejects most of the heat.
Not with a quality ceramic film. Rear and side glass at 20% is still easy to see through with the mirrors, and a windshield strip or full windshield uses a very light shade that cuts glare without cutting clarity.
